Top10EV is an independent editorial publication about electric vehicles, charging, policy and ownership economics in India. All content — including articles, buying guides, comparisons, rankings, calculators, opinion pieces and video content — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on Top10EV is intended to be, and nothing on Top10EV should be relied upon as, a recommendation to buy, sell, lease, finance, insure or otherwise transact in any specific vehicle, product or service.
3. No professional advice
Content on Top10EV is not (a) financial advice, investment advice or a recommendation regarding any loan, lease or financing product; (b) legal advice regarding registration, taxation, insurance or any other regulated matter; (c) engineering advice regarding vehicle safety, modification, servicing or repair; or (d) a personalised purchase recommendation. Readers must consult appropriately qualified professionals before making financial, legal, tax, engineering or purchase decisions.
4. No guarantee of completeness or accuracy
Vehicle specifications, prices, features, variants, warranty terms, government incentives and subsidies change frequently and may vary by state, city, dealer or transaction. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep information current and sourced, we make no warranty — express or implied — that content on the Services is complete, accurate, current, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Readers must independently verify any material fact with the manufacturer, dealer or relevant government authority before acting on it.

All content on the Services — including text, articles, buying guides, comparisons, rankings, calculators, graphics, photographs, illustrations, video, audio, data compilations and software — is owned by Top10EV or its licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence set out below, no rights are granted to you in respect of that content.
8. Limited licence to readers
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. Brief quotations for the purpose of criticism, review or news reporting, with a clear credit and a link to the original page on Top10EV, are permitted under fair dealing principles of Indian copyright law. All other use requires prior written permission.
9. Trademarks
'Top10EV', the Top10EV logo and other marks used on the Services are trademarks of Top10EV and may not be used without our prior written consent. Third-party manufacturer names, model names, logos and marks are used for identification and editorial purposes only; their use does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or any commercial affiliation.

11. Affiliate and sponsored content

12. Disclaimers on prices, specifications and incentives
Ex-showroom and on-road prices displayed on the Services are indicative and are drawn from manufacturer or government sources as at the date shown on the relevant page. Actual prices vary by variant, colour, dealer, city, RTO and time of purchase. Vehicle specifications may be revised by the manufacturer without notice. Government incentives — including PM E-Drive components, state subsidies, registration and road-tax concessions, and GST rates — are subject to change by the competent authority. We make no representation that any price, specification or incentive shown on the Services will apply to any particular transaction.
13. Calculators are estimates
All calculators on the Services (including EV vs Petrol savings, charging cost, EMI and carbon savings) are educational tools. Their outputs are estimates only and depend on the assumptions and inputs you provide. Actual costs and outcomes vary based on electricity tariffs, driving style, terrain, ambient temperature, maintenance, insurance, financing, resale value and local conditions. Do not rely on calculator outputs as the sole basis for a financial decision.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Top10EV, its directors, officers, employees, contributors and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary loss or damage — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to use, the Services or any content on them, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such loss. The Services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranty of any kind.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Top10EV, its directors, officers, employees, contributors and affiliates from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your infringement of any right of a third party, or (c) any content you submit to the Services.
16. Third-party rights and complaints
If you believe any content on the Services infringes your rights or is otherwise unlawful, please contact us using the details below. We will review the matter and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content in accordance with the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, the courts at [City, State], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
18. Dispute resolution
Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith discussion between the parties for a period of thirty (30) days from written notice of the dispute. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any other policy referenced from them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Top10EV in respect of the Services and supersede any prior communications or agreements on the subject.
